About Guyala Cafe
Opened in January 2020 by hospitality creative Oliver James, Guyala is the flagship cafe for Tattooed Sailor Coffee Roasters, located at 2 Smith Street corner of the Esplanade. The name “Guyala” is the local indigenous word for the White Breasted Sea Eagle, paying homage to traditional landowners through indigenous ingredients and artwork displays.
