Located in Kuranda’s Original Rainforest Markets, Hayabusa is the first Japanese style sweet shop in Australia. Owner Ben’s family lineage made traditional Japanese sweets in Tokyo, and he brings this heritage to Kuranda with dorayaki filled with fresh mango and green tea, dango with eucalyptus or sweet soy sauce, and ohagi sticky rice.
